Mike is a staffing industry executive with an expertise in Finance and Operations.
Mr. Gilles was groomed through his experiences with startups and high-growth stage companies over the last 27 years. He began his career in 1993 as one of the founders of Maintenance Match, Inc., a full-service employment agency specialized in the placement of maintenance and engineering professionals. While at Maintenance Match, he oversaw the growth of the company from startup to $10M in annual revenue. Mr. Gilles served in many capacities during his time at Maintenance Match including Chief Executive Officer from 2000-2005. In 2005, he oversaw the merger of Maintenance Match, Inc. with Priority Business Services, Inc. and was retained as the CFO & COO. While at Priority Business Services, Inc., Mr. Gilles worked closely with the executive team in formulating overall company strategy and was directly responsible for the management of all day-to-day accounting, finance, operations, information management, human resources and risk management. He liquidated his stake in the company in late 2012. To this day, he credits the success of Priority Business Services to having great employees and great partners.
Most recently, Mr. Gilles has successfully executed an equity investment in CV Resources – a full-service recruiting firm specialized in accounting and finance professionals. At CV Resources, he is serving as the CEO and CFO where he will oversee overall company strategy and day to day finance and operations.
Mr. Gilles received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in 1993 with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship.
When he’s not working, Mr. Gilles enjoys spending time with his Wife and three daughters at the home in Laguna Beach, CA. He is an avid fly-fisherman, golfer, and surfer and has traveled around the world in pursuit of these passions.
In addition to contributing to numerous charities, Michael Gilles and his wife Hilary are most passionate about their local educational foundation—SchoolPower—and have served in a Trustee capacity for the last 10 years.
